雨乞観音
大慈寺の前に馬頭観音を祀る観音堂がある。昔 何者か悪戯をして、堂前の池で御本尊を洗ったことがあるが、それ以来、この観音の例祭当日には必ず雨が降るといわれ、今でも雨乞いの際には御本尊を池へ入れるという。 （口碑伝説集）
